In recent news, key evidence has gone missing in Pampa, Texas. In this particular case, evidence that contained DNA was to be tested in an attempt to prove the innocence of a man on death row. The Pampa Police department had to admit to “losing” the evidence, stating that, “we just can’t find that thing.” The press has picked up on this case and headlines have been posted on major news venues, followed by thousands of comments and posts ranting about the legal system, the police department and the prosecutor’s office.
