Maintain a detailed record of impounded Vehicles

The Impound Module is the vehicle impound feature that maintains a record of all vehicles that are impounded. This module tracks all towing and storage related to each individual vehicle, including information such as the towing company that was originally contacted and used. The biggest feature of the Impound module is in how it keeps tracks of all charges, generating receipts for all payments showing all related charges, when they are released or auctioned (see Auction Module).

The feature controls the inventory of the Impound Lot, automatically recognizing and decoding VIN# information automating or simplifying the Data Entry process.
